Many of the ideas and practices presented in this book are based on Bloomquist's decades of sign-making experience as well as those of other leading sign makers. Whether you are new to dimensional sign making, or you're a seasoned veteran, you'll find "Mastering the Art of Dimensional Signmaking" a practical go-to reference book.

About the author:

Michael Bloomquist has specialized in the design and fabrication of dimensional signs since opening Sign of the Times in Delavan, Wisconsin, with his business partner John Weidner in 1990. In addition to crafting outdoor and other 3-D signs using Sign·Foam, Bloomquist and Weidner developed the Grain·Fraim wood grain simulator, Dura·Caps decorative post-top finials, and educational materials that share their knowledge with other sign makers.

Collaborating with Joe Scienski, CEO of Sign·Arts Products Corp., Bloomquist has presented multiple educational seminars across the country. In 2003, he took sharing his expertise to the next level, opening the Hayward School of Dimensional Sign Making at his five-cabin resort property on the scenic shores of Callahan Lake, near Hayward, Wisconsin. In that naturally inspiring setting, Bloomquist hosts and teaches workshops on all aspects of dimensional sign making throughout the year.

Bloomquist is a 1979 graduate of the University of Wisconsin ‐ Madison, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Art, and he has spent his entire career practicing the art of sign making.

This book is the "bible" for aspiring and accomplished 3-D sign makers

"Mastering the Art of Dimensional Signmaking" is an invaluable how-to handbook, as well as an effective training guide and reference book for employees.
